Today's Writing Tip... Learning About a 1930 something Christmas cake!

I'm calling my mom in about fifteen minutes and I have in front of me a list of questions that I never thought to ask her... and I ask a lot! It's a very good thing that she likes genealogy as much as I do, because not only does it help when you are working on a character who might be from that time period,  it does amazing things for when you are working your family tree.

If you have never tried this technique, give it a try. By doing so, I learned of a Christmas cake that was quite popular in the late thirties that I didn't know about.
